John G. Cossidente, Jr.
John G. Cossidente, Jr. is an Attorney licensed to practice law in the State of Illinois, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. During his eighteen years of practice, Mr. Cossidente has successfully litigated precedent setting cases before the Illinois Supreme Court and Appellate Courts.
Mr. Cossidente concentrates his practice in the area of family law and personal injury cases. As a single parent with the physical custody of his two minor children, Mr. Cossidente offers not only an extensive legal background to his clients, but an insightful understanding of the many trials and tribulations divorcing couples face once a divorce and/or custody dispute is resolved. Over the past eighteen years he has also successfully handled countless personal injury cases arising from auto accidents, medical malpractice and work related injuries.
His extensive trial experience in the area of personal injury has enabled Mr. Cossidente to formulate strategies that often results in faster successful resolutions of his cases.
Mr. Cossidente's educational background includes two degrees in Finance and Business Administration, cum laude from DePaul University as well as from the DePaul University School of Law in 1983. Robert R. Salus
Robert R. Salus is a licensed Attorney in the State of Illinois as well as in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. He is a Certified Public Accountant and practices primarily in Corporate Law, Estate Planning, Probate and Real Estate. Mr. Salus has extensive business and tax experience which he utilizes when counseling his clients in business transactions and estate planning.
Mr. Salus represents clients in the purchase and sale of large businesses, structuring corporations and LLC's and serves as General Counsel for many businesses located throughout the southern, western and northwestern suburbs. His tax experience is especially useful when preparing various types of Estate Plans for his clients ranging from simple wills and trusts to complex family limited partnerships and insurance trusts. Mr. Salus regularly represents clients in all forms of probate matters, including contested and non-contested estates and guardianships.
Mr. Salus served on the Board of Directors for the South Suburban Bar Association, and is a member of the South Suburban Estate Planning Council as well as the Chicago Bar Association, the Illinois Bar Association, and the Orland Park and Tinley Park Chambers of Commerce. Mr. Salus is a graduate of the DePaul University School of Law and has publicly spoken on topics ranging from Estate Planning to Trademark Infringement on the Internet.
